Lavatera dislikes transplanting, so do not try to move them from their permanent planting site. Grow in moist, average soil. Water well and deadhead regularly. Avoid feeding plants, as Lavatera grown in rich soil will have lush foliage and fewer flowers. It may self-sow. Approximately 30 seeds/package.

Gorgeous blend of white and pink flowers, also known as Mallow or Annual Tree Mallow, that remind me of a small hibiscus. They have amazing detail in the petals and bloom from mid summer to late fall. It is an easy-to-grow annual that blooms in the first year. The Latin species name trimestris translates as “three months,” referring to the plant’s quick life cycle.
