Lettuce is one of the easiest vegetables to grow from seed. You can directly sow into the garden in spring or start early in flats 3-4 weeks before last frost and transplant into garden. Lettuce is a cool weather crop so it is best suited in the shoulder portions of the summer. If directly sowing, ensure that you space your seeds as germination rates are generally quite high and you will have to thin aggressively if they are too close. If transplanting (and for thinning), final spacing should be 6″. Maturity for this variety is 48 days but you can start harvesting after about 3 weeks. Only take 1/2 or less of the plant each time. 150 Seeds Per Pack
